Alright, alright!!

cos-mo-post-al-an [koz-muh-postal-en]: adjective/noun
1. a person
who belongs to all the world; not limited to just one part of the world; can make their home anywhere in the world.
2. a person who believes fully that postage stamps and mail connect the world, regardless of where, from or to, they go.
3. the joyful experience of knowing you're a local because your mail made it to its destination
.

The postage stamp is truly wonderful. It can travel the world, experience the lives of a million different people, go through the doors of strangers; and never once lose sight of where it's headed.
Welcome to the land of cosmopostalan : travel, mail and words. It's a crazy little place in my corner of the woods; wherever that may be!

Outgoing

What a gorgeous day of mail...

(**please note: this post was edited because I currently am having some trouble with uploading pics. I will re-edit it, and put up pics, once the situation changes. Until then--**)

On Friday, I went to check my post office box and was welcomed by three beautiful pieces of mail from across the globe. One from New Zealand, one from Australia, and one from within the United States. Each piece was absolutely gorgeous, and made me smile with the amount of effort and consideraton put into each piece.

And so, I thought it only fitting to get right on replying, especially considering yesterday marked the day to hand in my major paper (all 14 pages of it) and I now stand with hours to do whatever I want.
I made a bit an "Air"mail pun with one reply, and then brought in some black/white/photography joy with another.
And the rest of my outgoing was adorned with joy!
Also last weekend, I found a 2011 Cirque de Soleil calendar left "to the weather", completely never-been-used and in perfect nick. Conveniently, the paper of which it is made from is heavy duty cardstock, and makes WONDERFUL envelopes. So, I've decided to make a collection of envelopes which I now adorn with the name:

CIRQUE
I'm looking forward to using those guys!

I also had a little inspiration today, to create a new form of letter. But I will save that for a later post, once I create the prototype and other little doodads!

For now -- may today be a GOOD MAIL DAY!

Send some more mail,
